What is the 2.0 Adoption Council?

We are a collection of managers in large enterprises that are charting the course for 2.0 adoption.  Although we may use different platforms and tools, we all share a common enthusiasm for bringing a new way of working to our representative companies.  We call ourselves “internal evangelists” and some say we have one of the most difficult, yet exciting jobs in the global marketplace.

Talking Shop Collectively, our companies are entrusting us with millions of dollars so that we may create the workplace of the future.   If you’d like to join us, we’d love to have you.  If you work for a company with more than 10,000 employees and your full time job is bringing 2.0 to the enterprise, we welcome you.

Here, you will find a passionate assembly of early adopters who help each other discover what’s working, what’s not, what’s hype, and what’s real in the quest for reinventing today’s large organization.

To apply to become a member of the Council, send us an inquiry on LinkedIn and we will get back to you as soon as possible.  The Council has an on-ramping process, so patience is required.

The Council has representatives from all over the world in 7 time zones.  We collaborate on two social platforms: Jive SBS and Yammer, but we are not tied to any technology vendor or product. Our members are drawn from various lines of business as well as IT departments.  There is a wide mixture of backgrounds and expertise, but all members share the common desire to learn from other experts already engaged in the work they do at their company or organization.
